GEN II: Chapter 5

**Writers note : I just wanted to share the above pictures, just because. This is what insane people do with their spare time. They talk to themselves, or yell at no one, they have also been known to strangle themselves.

I love 'em! lol
Anyway, on with the story. Enjoy ~xo

Today starts with the family artist. He starts his day beginning a new painting. He decides then that, aside from the money he makes from selling his paintings, he wants a job. Just a part time one. So Damien takes a shower and has a quick breakfast then goes out to get one. He remembers his mother used to work at the Day-Spa.

Damien chose to get a job there. They were looking for two receptionists. He took one of those slots. Afterword Damien went to the park to hang out for a while. He met a young boy there doing the same thing. They swung together and talked for a while before Damien noticed a weird seed on the ground. He quickly thought of his mother and picked it up. Thinking she would like it he went back home to give it to her.

Jenni loved her thoughtful gift and went right out to plant it right away. It was a type of seed she had never seen before. It must be special.

Today was also special. It was time to celebrate Crystals aging into teen years. She was growing so quickly.

The whole family gathered into the kitchen to watch her blow out her candles.

Growing to show her teen looks, everyone sees that she is the spitting image of her mother. They could be twin sisters if they were the same age. Only slight differences in the eyes, she has her fathers eyes.

The first thing that Crystal wanted to do when she was able was show off her natural cooking skills. So she made everyone dinner that night.

Being a teenager, she thought that looking like her mother made her look way older than she was. To adult-like. That had to change. Right after dinner she went to the store to get some new clothes, and a new haircut. She thought her mother was a very lovely lady, but Crystal was young and wanted to look it.

After her makeover she wanted to get a part-time job. The Spa had a position available, and she took it. She was happy to feel busy all the time. Now with school, fishing, cooking and her new job, Crystal's schedule was bound to be full all the time.

Meanwhile...

Hayden was out meeting his new fiance's parents. When he arrived at the house he was taken aback by this beautiful vista. For a brief moment Hayden wondered why Isabel would want to leave this place, for a small place like his home. The thought passed and he knocked on the door.

Isabel's mother actually called from the garage. "Odd place to hang out," Hayden thought. He shrugged and started talking about the house and how lovely it was. He complimented her and her home. After a little conversing he told her that he had asked Isabel to marry him. Isabel's mother's demeanor changed a little bit, then she politely excused herself and asked Hayden to leave.
He did.

At home, Kenya was telling Chase about her promotion at work today.

"It's about time I crept up this ladder," Kenya said. "That reminds me... YOU should get a job and help out around here. You're such a couch potato."

"Why do I need to get a job, everyone else has one. Someone needs to stay and watch the house!" Chase defended.

"Oh please, Alan is retired! He stays home to take care of the house." Kenya retorted "No one really knows what you do!"

The argument continued for about an hour. Words like slob, and couch potato, also annoyance were thrown in Chase's direction. He refused to get a job, or help anymore than he has been. Kenya got so frustrated, she took her hat off and threw it at him as she walked away.

Only a few feet away, an old couple vowed to each other never to be like that. They laughed and hugged, then went upstairs together.

They retired for a while to the new office to browse the web or practice writing. This room used to be Damien's but his was moved across the hall. The upstairs laundry room had been expanded and changed into his room. Another small room was added on to be the new laundry.

The Fuller house is growing with it's family, which is none to small. Just the way Jenni always wanted it.

  3. Yes, Insane is a trait you can give your sim. It is really funny too, Chase makes me laugh a lot.

No she didn't REALLY throw the hat LOL but I thought it would be funny if she did. Not too many things in my story are made up, but sometimes I have to throw a little 'fluff' in there hehe
